Use of the Word Analogies in the ESL Classroom          Using words analogies is a useful way of building vocabulary. Word analogies can be created using many different categories. Here is a simple example of a word analogy:         Hot is to cold as up is to down OR hot - cold | up - down         This is an example of a word analogy using antonyms.
